Since 2004, Areon Flutes' mission has been to make flute chamber music an equal voice in the chamber music world.

World premiere of "Void of Day" by Cornelius Boots at the 2013 Switchboard Music Festival.
With composer Elainie Lillios after the premiere of her composition at the 2013 National Flute Associaion Convention in New Orleans.

Areon Flutes was awarded the Bronze Medal at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition in Notre Dame, Indiana.
2007

The Areon Flutes International Chamber Music Competition awarded its first prizes. It has been an integral part of Areon's mission to make flute chamber music an equal voice in the chamber music world.

Areon Flutes, Inc. becomes a non-profit organization.
The first annual Areon Summer Flute Institute!
